Nativity Adopt-a-Family

Nativity Adopt-a-Family

Each year, during the Christmas season, Nativity parishioners adopt over 200 local families who are in need.

These families are chosen by Nativity's St. Vincent de Paul Society, and other appropriate organization.

Parishioners provide presents for the children of the family and a family gift.

This is supplemented with 2 bags of non-perishable food and gift card to a local grocery store for fresh food items.

In addition to adopting families, our church members/parishioners purchase wish list items (such as diapers, soap, etc.) needed by local organizations that assist the poor and homeless.

Parishioners can also put together bags of toiletries, which includes a $20.00 gift card to Target, which are for homeless and are distributed by the St. Vincent de Paul Homeless desk in Redwood City.

We also take donations to help with the purchase of the grocery gift cards.

Volunteers are always needed to help with sign-ups in November, pack the food, make deliveries.

Delivery Days will be determined each year.
